Report Submission Terms & Conditions
By submitting a report to BugBountyScam.com ("the Platform"), you agree to the following terms. Read them carefully before submitting.
1. Submitter Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
- You must submit truthful information to the best of your knowledge.
- You must not knowingly submit false, misleading, fabricated, or defamatory content.
- By submitting a report, you accept full responsibility for the content you provide.
2. Role of the Platform
- The Platform acts only as a publishing platform for user experiences and reports.
- The Platform owner does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted content.
- The Platform reserves the right to reject, edit, remove, or moderate any submission at its discretion.
- Submission of a report does not guarantee publication.
3. Companies & Right of Reply
- Companies named in reports may submit an official response that is displayed alongside the report and clearly labelled as coming from the named party.
- Companies may also file a formal dispute if they believe a report is factually inaccurate. See the Resolution Policy for the full process.
- The Platform may update, annotate, or add status flags to content following a dispute or company response.
4. Evidence
- You are encouraged to attach supporting evidence (screenshots, correspondence excerpts, timelines) with your submission.
- Evidence is stored privately and reviewed by the Platform. Sensitive personal information is redacted before any evidence is referenced publicly.
- Do not upload materials that reveal third-party personal data, credentials, or other information you are not entitled to publish.
5. Content Removal & Corrections
- Reports are only removed where required by law, where the original submitter voluntarily withdraws, or where a dispute is upheld and removal is the appropriate remedy.
- Removals under legal process are logged and the report is marked as removed rather than silently deleted.
- Factual errors are corrected on request through the dispute process. Corrections are annotated on the report.
- [NEEDS ATTORNEY REVIEW — final removal criteria, notice-and-takedown procedure, and safe-harbor eligibility to be confirmed with counsel.]
6. Prohibited Content
- No personal identifying information about individuals not acting in an official capacity for the named program.
- No content that constitutes harassment, threats, or incitement.
- No content protected by NDA, attorney-client privilege, or similar confidentiality obligations.
- No content that reveals unpatched vulnerabilities in sufficient detail to enable exploitation.
7. Anonymity & Contact Details
- Public identity: submitters choose a display handle; the Platform does not publish real-world identity information.
- Internal contact: submitters are required to provide contact details so the Platform can follow up on disputes and resolutions. Contact details are not published and are used solely for editorial follow-up.
8. License Grant
- By submitting content, you grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, and moderate your submission.
- You retain ownership of your submission and may request removal in the circumstances described in section 5.
9. No Warranty
- The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any published report.
- Readers should evaluate reports critically and not rely on them as legal findings.
10. Publisher Status & Safe Harbor
- The Platform is a publisher of user-submitted content. In jurisdictions with intermediary safe-harbor regimes (including but not limited to Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act and Article 6 of the EU Digital Services Act), the Platform relies on those protections to the extent applicable.
- Editorial review before publication is intended to raise the quality of reports; it does not constitute an endorsement or adoption of user statements as the Platform's own.
- [NEEDS ATTORNEY REVIEW — precise scope of intermediary immunity given pre-publication editorial review; interaction with local defamation law; jurisdictional strategy.]
11. Governing Law & Disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Platform's operating jurisdiction. [NEEDS ATTORNEY REVIEW]
- Legal notices should be sent to admin@bugbountyscam.com with "LEGAL NOTICE" in the subject line.
Submitting knowingly false or defamatory information may expose you to legal liability. Report only your genuine, firsthand experience.
